These get built periodically and directly from CVS. They might not work, they might eat your harddrive, they might cause cancer. Please don't use for real work unless you actually want to help with development.
That said, they're often remarkably stable and have features not in the latest Schism Tracker release.

Source is available via VIEWCVS or anonymous CVS, or you can use the snapshot I took when I built the other binaries here.
That .package file is an AutoPackage (ahem) package. It doesn't need to do anything root, and when I test it, I never test installing it as root. It will add the appropriate .desktop files to the right place and associate itself with modules. To install it, simply run sh schism-*.package
Please file bugs if you encounter any problems. If it doesn't play a song correctly then attach the relevent module (but please, try and isolate the problem).
If you have patches, please post them directly so I can see them and so others can track them.
